SummaryProvides direction for cardiology activities in alignment with regional objectives. Enhances service delivery for optimal patient care in a cost‑effective manner and evaluates programs and procedures. Assists with staff scheduling, staff development, and performance monitoring. Works effectively towards solutions for positive patient outcomes.
Education- BSN or BS in a related field obtained through a formal 4‑year program. Master's degree preferred.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program (AD in Nursing, RN Diploma, BSN, or MSN).
- Five years of related Cath Lab experience in an acute care setting, including leadership experience.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or holds a multi‑state nursing license; or able to obtain license prior to start is required.
- Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support required.
- National Certification in Area of Specialty.
