As a Histotechnologist, you will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases by turning tissue samples into microscope slides.
Histology is the study of microscopic structures of tissues.

What You Will Do- Graduate of an approved program in Histotechnology.
- Minimum one year’s experience preferred as Histotechnologist in a hospital setting.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus and form perception required to notice pertinent details of specimens under a microscopic study.
- Color discrimination required to distinguish various shades and colors of specimens and reactions.
- Must be licensed as Histotechnologist in the state of Florida.
- Certified by a national regulatory agency (ASCP) preferred.
- Education:
BS Medical Technology preferred but Associate Degree required. - AABB certification required.
This is a Per Diem position with NO benefits.
