Fleet Beverage Manager
The Fleet Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing and supporting the fleet’s operations. This role acts as an extension of the Corporate Leader, working on the ship when needed and maintaining close communication with the shoreside team. The Fleet Beverage Manager ensures that all bars consistently offer technically proficient, efficient, and personalized luxury beverage experiences. They work with the Corporate Team to develop and implement all beverage initiatives and tests.
The Fleet Beverage Manager maintains an intriguing and relevant beverage program in collaboration with direct reports, from product selection and stocking to service delivery, education, and training. This role also partners with other team members to develop and maintain beverage‑related enrichment opportunities for guests. The Fleet Beverage Manager monitors and analyzes beverage cost, consumption data, and results, striving to increase overall beverage revenue through effective training and up‑selling techniques.
They also implement and train team members on new beverage revenue initiatives and drive sanitation and public health standards at the highest level. Overall, the Fleet Beverage Manager is responsible for conceptualizing, implementing, and overseeing beverage operations, processes, and training to ensure consistent excellence across the onboard bars and the fleet.

Essential Duties- Ensures that luxury beverage service is provided to guests in a courteous and professional manner in accordance with brand standards and legal requirements.
- Anticipating the needs of guests and Ladies and Gentlemen by ensuring all products and supplies are readily available, beverage menus are accurate and all listed products are available.
- When onboard, supervises the setup, cleaning, and breaking down of bars and maintaining equipment, supplies, goods, and all work areas.
- Monitors the performance of all bar and wine staff, and all other beverage related services, to ensure that their duties and services are carried out in accordance with company policies and standards.
- Assists with establishing and maintaining standards for the consistent quality of all beverage products and services.
- Assists with establishing procedures for minimum and maximum par-stocks in all beverage outlets, as well as storerooms.
- Conducts formal and informal training sessions with all beverage service‑related staff in beverage awareness, basic serving skills, up selling of products and appropriate sales techniques.
- Monitors inventory processes including requisitions, receiving, moving and stocking product in accordance with First In, First Out (FIFO).
- Ensuring constant readiness for and assisting with any and all Sanitation and Health Code Inspections whether conducted internally or with officials.
- Advance planning, coordination and oversight of execution of special events in partnership with beverage brands and the shipboard team and guests.
- Providing assistance to the Food & Beverage Director in the execution of the shipboard operations of the Bar venues.
- Managing financial performance for all Food & Beverage venues in partnership with lateral and supporting roles as well as Senior Leadership.
- Assists with the monitoring and maintenance of the slow‑moving items procedure to ensure that onboard staff is not reordering discontinued beverage items and hotel supplies and conducts a physical beverage inventory (spot checks) on each visit to the vessel.
- Assists with monitoring and analyzing beverage cost, consumption data and results and advises on product and equipment specification.
- Develops and monitors the beverage strategy for the fleet, aligning with the company’s vision of delivering exceptional guest experiences. Collaborates with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration of beverage operations with other onboard services.
