We currently have an opportunity for a well‑rounded and seasoned Hostess/Host to join our Pier Sixty‑Six Resort team! We are seeking friendly and outgoing individuals with Fine Dining experience to join our team as a Hostess / Host. As a Hostess / Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and outside visitors, providing them with a warm welcome and ensuring their dining experience starts off on a positive note.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and has a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Reporting to the outlet General Manager the restaurant Hostess, you will be part of a diverse food and beverage offering, for our Mediterranean and Latin concept. Part of the newly renovated marina area, the restaurant will offer a dynamic concept for lunch and dinner. This high‑volume requires a passion for personalized service and guest engagement. The new hot spot in Fort Lauderdale will offer luxury products and service, in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor upon arrival.
  • Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
  • Assist in seating Members and guests according to the seating chart or guest preferences.
  • Manage the waitlist during peak hours and provide accurate wait time estimates.
  • Answer phone calls and take reservations or provide information as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and dining area.
  • Manage guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Effectively communicate with peers, management, line, and front‑of‑the‑house employees.
  • Practice effective listening (seek to understand).
  • Perform related duties as required.
  • Be responsible for the cleanliness of the immediate work area as well as the general property.
  • Adhere to proper grooming, dress and uniform standards as set forth by Resort policy.
  • Be courteous to all guests and coworkers.
  • Maintain behavior consistent with sexual harassment/hostile work environment policy dictated in the Employee Handbook.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers and non‑alcoholic selections, correct glassware, and garnishes at their respective outlet.
