REPORTS TO:

EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER REQUIREMENTS:

Perform routine duties in the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms and baths under supervision of a floor supervisor.

SUMMARY:

Ensures guest satisfaction by performing the following duties:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Includes the following. Additional duties may be assigned.
  • Receives room list from Supervisor.
  • Responsible for cleaning at least 16 rooms per day.
  • Collects soiled linen and terry.
  • Inspects linen, makes beds.
  • Replenishes guestroom and bath supplies.
  • Services stay over guest rooms according to Riverside Standards.
  • Sweeps patio, clean outside table and chairs.
  • Sweeps, mops and vacuums bathroom.
  • Dusts room furniture.
  • Cleans guest room closet.
  • Vacuums entire room.
  • Checks under mattress and under bed for forgotten items, if room is checkout.
  • Cleans mirrors and doorknobs.
  • Makes sure all checkouts have a “Do Not Disturb” sign and Room Service menu.
  • Reports discrepancy of room status to floor supervisor.
  • Sprays air freshener in room.
  • Checks and secures the guest room.
  • Returns assigned board and all equipment, caddies and chemicals to designated area.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; outside weather conditions and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
