• Load dishwasher with dirty dishes as needed.
• Make sure that the dishwasher machine is cleaning properly.
• Keep and maintain a clean workstation at all times.
• Make sure that the dishes are clean and sanitized.
• Must know the size and the name of the China, silver ware and glassware.
• Sweep and mop kitchen as needed.
• Clean walls as needed.
• Maintain a high level of training for equipment cleaning.
• Empty all the garbage cans to the dumpster at the loading dock.
• Clean the drains.
• Clean the loading dock.
• Clean the tilt skillet.
• Must be able to adhere to the Quality standards of the hotel and the related department.

High school education or related experience. Familiarity with hospitality industry practices preferred. Ability to understand and provide friendly guest service. Ability to understand and comply with proper cleaning techniques, policies and procedures. Ability to operate dish washing machine, burnisher, steam cleaner, cardboard bailer, mop and properly use cleaning supplies.

Physical work is a primary part of many of our hotel and resort jobs. Physical requirements include extended standing and walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and lifting to 50 lbs. Some work is performed in an interior hotel environment with equipment and machines. The work involves exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dirt, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
