KIDS is seeking a HR Generalist to support the day-to-day HR operations and focus on building strong relationships across the organization, fostering a culture of trust, fun, collaboration, and spiritual encouragement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong supportive relationships with employees and managers at all levels
  • Manage and perform annual employee background screening process and new hire background screening process
  • Implement employee onboarding process from offer letter through first 90 days of employment
  • Contribute to a positive and fun workplace by participating in culture keepers meetings and planning and executing staff culture events
  • Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations, recommend best practices, and update policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Manage benefit enrollment, billing, audits, and support employees with benefit questions
  • Assist with annual employee compliance audits
  • Manage ADP Workforce Now database and online employee files to ensure accurate and up-to-date
  • Support managers and employees with HR-related questions, including performance, leave, and conflict resolution
  • Review bi-monthly payroll processing for accuracy
  • Complete all tasks associated with transitions, promotions, and separations within 4

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2-5 years of HR generalist experience preferred
  • Committed Christian with alignment with 4

    KIDS statement of faith
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Knowledge of HR compliance and best practices
  • Experience in a nonprofit or faith-based ministry setting preferred
  • Proficient with ADP Workforce Now and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and grace
  • Ability to counsel staff using the Bible
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
