Job Summary:

Overview:

We seek a highly experienced and strategic SAP principal technical lead (Program Level) to lead and oversee the implementation and optimization of SAP S/4

HANA solutions for our clients who are into downstream oil and gas operations. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP modules relevant to the oil and gas industry and a proven ability to deliver enterprise-scale solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture and Design:

• Lead the design and architecture of SAP S/4
  
  HANA BTP solutions tailored to downstream oil and gas business processes, including marketing, distribution, and trading.
• Ensure alignment of SAP S/4
  
  HANA including IS-Oil capabilities with business objectives, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices.
• Develop and document end-to-end architecture of BTP (Business Technology Platform) for complex business processes spanning multiple SAP Applications and modules (e.g. S/4
  
  HANA- MM, SD, FI/CO, PM, PS and IS-Oil-Traders Schedule Workbench; CX-CPQ, Sales, Service;
  Commodity Price Engine(CPE)). Keep in mind processes like Quote-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay while designing.
• BTP coverage include functionalities/services such as Integration Suite, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) etc.,
• Guide the full lifecycle implementation of SAP S/4
  
  HANA, leveraging SAP Activate Methodology, including Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, and Run.
• Oversee data migration strategies and integration with third-party systems, ensuring seamless functionality and data integrity.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for technical and functional teams, providing hands-on leadership and mentorship.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize SAP S/4
  
  HANA initiatives.
• Facilitate workshops and design sessions to understand business needs and recommend solutions.
• Present architecture proposals and project updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Performance Optimization:

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization within the SAP S/4
  
  HANA environment.
• Provide technical leadership for performance tuning, system upgrades, and scalability enhancements.

Governance and Compliance:

• Ensure all solutions adhere to organizational IT standards, industry regulations, and SAP best practices.
• Establish and enforce governance policies for SAP S/4
  
  HANA usage and customization.
• Understanding of SAP Cloud Application Lifecycle Management is a plus

Qualifications and Skills:
Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15+ years of SAP experience, with 5+ years in a principal architect or leadership role.
• Extensive experience in SAP S/4
  
  HANA implementations, specifically in downstream oil and gas industries.

Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in SAP S/4
  
  HANA BTP (Business Technology Platform), and its integrations with SAP modules like MM, SD, FI/CO, PM, and IS-Oil.
• Strong understanding of SAP Best Practices for Oil & Gas (e.g., Hydrocarbon Product Management, Secondary Distribution, and Energy Pricing).
• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5, Architectural understanding of programming models
  -CAP (cloud application programming) and RAP (RESTful ABAP programming), CDS Views, AI/ML etc., is a plus.
• Knowledge of integration tools (e.g., SAP PI/PO, APIs) and data migration frameworks.
