Your Purpose

MSC Cruises is offering a full-time opportunity for an Infrastructure Specialist
- Networking to provide expertise for projects and on-going support for US offices, Miami terminal, and Ocean Cay (Bahamas). The specialist will collaborate closely with both internal and external IT teams to ensure our networks operate efficiently and securely.

Your Impact

Support the company’s WAN, LAN, and IP network infrastructure across all shoreside locations to ensure high availability and performance of the network.

Collaborate with IT teams on design and implementation of network and infrastructure; includes projects, upgrades, new build outs.

Work with external vendors and service providers to manage network connectivity issues, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure consistent service for offices and terminals.

Serve as point of escalation for complex technical network issues, providing advanced troubleshooting and support to resolve them efficiently.

Collaborate with IT team members to develop and implement network and infrastructure policies and procedures.

Coordinate execution of system maintenance, migrations and updates.

Monitor network and system performance to ensure system availability and reliability.

Troubleshoot and resolve network and infrastructure issues, including hardware, connectivity, and applications.

Maintain documentation of network and infrastructure configurations, processes, and service records.

Troubleshoot virtual environments, ensuring optimal performance of Virtual Machines.

Your Journey so far

Proven experience as a Network Administrator, Infrastructure Administrator, or similar role.

Extensive experience with HP/Aruba network products and solutions.

Strong knowledge of IP networks, WAN, SD-WAN, and LAN technologies.

Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

Your Essentials

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration platforms (Outlook, MS Teams, SharePoint).

Familiarity with process design tools, such as SAP Signavio, is an advantage.

Proven ability to conceptualise solutions for complex issues and present actionable options.

Fluency in English is mandatory; any other language is a plus.

Strong problem-solving, time management, and organisational skills, with a proactive and motivated attitude.

Experience coordinating large-scale systems implementations, including stabilisation and process optimisation phases.
