Senior Network Administrator – ICBD

AboutThe Role
ICBD is a robust single‑family office focused on private investment and business development across healthcare, technology, and beyond. We own and operate a portfolio of high‑performance businesses that share a commitment to people, operational excellence, and long‑term value creation. As Senior Network Administrator, you will design, deploy, monitor, and manage private cloud, WAN/LAN, and WLAN infrastructure across a multi‑location environment.
What You’ll Do- Design, deploy, and optimize WLANs using modern security protocols such as WPA3 and 802.1X.
- Standardize network configurations across multiple office locations, maintaining documentation and configuration templates.
- Plan and execute network build‑outs for new office sites, coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Order, manage, and document network circuits from carriers, ensuring proper tracking and timely provisioning.
- Implement and manage NAC and ensure compliance with HIPAA and HITECH.
- Use ITSM systems (e.g., Service Now) following ITIL best practices for incident, change, and problem management.
- Utilize network monitoring tools (Solar Winds, New Relic, PRTG) to proactively resolve performance issues.
- Develop automation scripts with Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools to streamline network operations.
- Participate in on‑call support rotations for network incidents.
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure‑based network architectures, including VNets, Express Route, VPN gateways, and cloud firewalls.
- Ensure hybrid connectivity between on‑premises and Azure, optimizing security, scalability, and performance.
- Work with Azure Load Balancers, Application Gateways, and DNS for network resilience and availability.
- 8+ years in IT Support, Operations, or similar.
- 3–5 years as a Network Administrator or equivalent role.
- Preferred certifications:
Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate, CCNA, CCNP, Network+, JNCIA. - Experience managing distributed, multi‑location networks with Cisco, Meraki, Ubiquiti, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or similar.
- Operational environment experience managing tickets, alerts, and notifications across multiple tools.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs.
- Proficiency with monitoring tools (Solar Winds, New Relic, PRTG, Wireshark).
- Experience with SDWAN technologies and vendors (Cato, Zscaler, Aryaka, Fortinet, Cisco, Ubiquiti).
- Automation scripting experience (Ansible, Terraform, Python, Power Shell).
- 21 paid days off (15 days PTO + 6 holidays).
