Job Description: As a On-Premises and Cloud Network Engineer at i-payout, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, optimizing, and securing our on-premises and cloud network infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted and reliable service delivery to our clients. You will collaborate with the IT team to design, implement, and support network solutions that meet the highest standards of performance, scalability, and security.
Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and manage enterprise network infrastructure across data centers, cloud environments, and corporate offices, with a heavy emphasis on Cisco routers, Cisco switches, Cisco FTD/ASA firewalls, Cisco FMC
, and security platforms. - Monitor network performance and security, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
- Assess the cloud provider requirements and participate in integrating On-Premises workloads with cloud providers.
- Implement and enforce network security measures to safeguard against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security threats.
- Implement and enforce network security controls, segmentation,
ACLs
, IPS/IDS rules, and secure remote‑access technologies. - Design and implement BGP routing policies, peering, and failover strategies to ensure resilient and predictable network behavior.
- Participate in capacity planning and scalability assessments to accommodate the company's growing business needs.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of network documentation, diagrams
, and standard operating procedures. - Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to networking and security.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for network‑related incidents and outages.
- Manage and maintain Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services.
- Administer and support Dell/HP physical servers
, including hardware diagnostics and basic OS‑level tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, etc.) are a plus.
- 8+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar role, preferably in a fast‑paced and technology‑driven environment.
- Hands‑on proficiency in Cisco FTD, Cisco ASA, Cisco FMC, and Cisco switching platforms.
- Strong understanding of network concepts including TCP/IP, IPSEC, GRE, VPNs, EIGRP, QoS, ACLs, DNS, DHCP, BGP, IDS/IPS, site to site tunnels and VLANs
. - Experience managing Dell servers and core Microsoft services (AD, DNS, DHCP).
- In‑depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure
, including networking services and features (AWS VPC and/or Azure Virtual Network). - Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team‑oriented environment.
