• Analyze, design, develop, test, debug, implement, and integrate operational efficiencies into technical infrastructure and business processes.
• Work primarily with Oracle and Postgre
  
  SQL technologies to maintain and optimize enterprise database environments.
• Design and develop solutions to improve operational processes and drive efficiencies.
• Collaborate with application vendors for issue resolution and provide technical leadership to internal teams and customers.
• Mentor teammates and internal customers on database platforms.
• Support rotational on-call duties alongside development activities.

• Deep knowledge in installing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise Database Technology environments (Oracle & Postgre
  
  SQL) in on-premise setups.
• Extensive working knowledge of Oracle SYS views and tables.
• Experience installing, upgrading, and performing Disaster Recovery efforts with Oracle DBs.
• Proficiency with Oracle Enterprise Manager.
• Strong SQL tuning and database performance evaluation/configuration skills.
• Systems engineering experience (AIX/Linux performance, memory management, I/O tuning, security, clusters, troubleshooting).
• Direct customer-facing experience resolving database, systems, and infrastructure issues; providing systems architecture leadership.
• Working knowledge of relational database internals (locking, consistency, serialization, disaster recovery).
• Coding skills in at least one scripting language (TCL, Perl, Python, Power Shell).
• Minimum 5 years of experience engineering/administering/managing multiple relational database technologies (Oracle, Postgre
  
  SQL).
• Shell and Python scripting experience with Dev Ops tools and CI/CD.
• Significant exposure to OS administration tasks.

• SAP Oracle DBA experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience beyond 5 years in similar roles.
