Responsibilities

Lead SEO, AI search optimization, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) initiatives across digital platforms.
Develop and implement strategies to improve organic search rankings, AI search visibility, content discoverability, and digital engagement.
Optimize website content, information architecture, internal linking, and structured data for traditional search engines and AI-powered search experiences.
Implement and enhance schema markup, crawlability, indexation, site structure, and other technical SEO elements.
Evaluate website performance and identify technical issues and opportunities through comprehensive SEO audits.
Monitor AI search visibility, content citations, search performance, and other relevant organic search metrics.
Analyze search trends, user behavior, keyword opportunities, and competitive insights to guide ongoing optimization efforts.
Use Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Adobe Analytics, and related tools to measure performance and identify actionable insights.
Collaborate with content strategists, marketing teams, analytics professionals, and engineers to improve website performance and content relevance.
Translate business requirements into technical SEO recommendations, implementation plans, and measurable optimization initiatives.
Stay current with AI-powered search platforms, large language models, search engine algorithm updates, and emerging optimization practices.
Provide strategic recommendations and thought leadership on SEO, AEO, GEO, and AI-driven content discoverability.
Manage multiple optimization projects, prioritize initiatives, and communicate results and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in SEO, organic search optimization, digital marketing, or a related discipline.
Experience with AI-powered search platforms, AEO, GEO, LLM optimization, or related search technologies.
Strong understanding of SEO strategy, keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, and organic search performance.
Hands-on knowledge of schema markup, structured data, website architecture, crawlability, indexation, and internal linking.
Experience using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Adobe Analytics, or comparable analytics and search performance platforms.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and content management systems (CMS).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
Ability to translate data and technical findings into actionable recommendations.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience optimizing content for large language models (LLMs), AI-generated search results, and conversational search experiences.
Familiarity with AI search visibility monitoring, citation tracking, and performance measurement tools.
Experience in eCommerce, enterprise websites, or digital marketing environments.
Understanding of how AI-powered search experiences retrieve, summarize, and present online content.
Knowledge of emerging search technologies, evolving search behavior, and industry best practices for SEO, AEO, and GEO.
Experience working with content teams and developers to implement technical and content optimization recommendations.
