PC Technician

Description

We are looking for a PC Technician to support a short-term Contract assignment in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This role will focus on removing workstation equipment, assisting with office relocation activities, and helping retire outdated technology in an organized and efficient manner. The position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working hands-on with computer hardware and related devices in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Remove desktop workstations, peripherals, and related equipment with care and attention to inventory control

- Support office relocation efforts by disconnecting, organizing, and preparing technology assets for transport or storage

- Decommission outdated devices and hardware according to established procedures

- Handle computer equipment, cabling, and accessories safely during setup, breakdown, and movement activities

- Assist with identifying, sorting, and staging Dell and Apple hardware for removal or reassignment

- Maintain an orderly work area and help ensure equipment is tracked throughout the assignment

Requirements - Experience working with computer hardware and associated peripheral equipment

- Ability to disconnect, move, and organize workstation components and cable installations

- Familiarity with Dell Technologies products and Apple devices

- Comfortable performing hands-on technical tasks in an onsite environment

- Ability to lift and move equipment safely as part of office support activities

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions during asset handling and decommissioning Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
