About the Opportunity
Our firm is expanding, and we are seeking a driven and experienced Immigration Attorney to spearhead the development of our new Immigration Law Department. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated legal professional to play a pivotal role in shaping and leading a growing practice within an established, well-respected firm.
Position SummaryThe Immigration Attorney will handle a diverse caseload encompassing family-based petitions, employment-based visas, naturalization, deportation defense, and other immigration matters. In addition to case work, this role requires strategic vision and leadership to build a robust practice and mentor future team members as the department grows.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and advocate for a wide range of immigration cases from intake to resolution.
- Develop and implement department procedures, best practices, and case management systems.
- Provide legal guidance to clients and maintain high standards of client communication and service.
- Represent clients before USCIS, immigration courts, and other government agencies.
- Stay current with changing immigration laws and policies to ensure compliance and best outcomes.
- Collaborate with firm leadership on growth strategy and business development for the immigration practice.
- Mentor and train junior attorneys and support staff as the department expands.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
- Minimum of 3 years of dedicated experience practicing immigration law.
- Strong knowledge of family-based and employment-based immigration matters, deportation defense, and naturalization processes.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Job Type: Full‑time
Pay: $95,000.00 – $ per year
