Litigation Associate – Fort Lauderdale, FL
The Fort Lauderdale office of Fisher Phillips seeks a Litigation Associate with 3 to 5 years of defense‑side complex litigation experience. More experienced candidates are welcome to apply and should have at least some portable business.
Responsibilities- Drafting and responding to pleadings
- Managing written and electronic discovery
- Drafting and arguing motions
- Taking and defending depositions
- Participating in mediations and trials
- Admission to the Florida Bar is required.
Experience in wage‑and‑hour litigation and counseling clients on wage‑and‑hour compliance and Department of Labor investigations is a plus.
While prior employment law experience is preferred, we are equally interested in strong litigators who bring excellent skills from other complex defense‑side litigation contexts and demonstrate a genuine interest in developing an employment law practice.
