Fort Lauderdale - Mid-Level Litigation Associate

The Fort Lauderdale office of Fisher Phillips seeks a Litigation Associate with 3 to 5 years of defense-side complex litigation experience. More experienced candidates are welcome to apply and should have at least some portable business.

Qualified candidates will have handled complex litigation matters from start to finish, including:

  • Drafting and responding to pleadings
  • Managing written and electronic discovery
  • Drafting and arguing motions
  • Taking and defending depositions
  • Participating in mediations and trials
  • Admission to the Florida Bar is required.

Experience in wage‑and‑hour litigation and counseling clients on wage‑and‑hour compliance and Department of Labor investigations is a plus.

While prior employment law experience is preferred, we are equally interested in strong litigators who bring excellent skills from other complex defense‑side litigation contexts and demonstrate a genuine interest in developing an employment law practice.
