Family Law Paralegal

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Law Paralegal to join a well-established regional firm in downtown Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of hands-on family law experience and be comfortable supporting two partners and three associates with a range of complex legal matters.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution - strongly recommended

• Experience: Please have recent experience as a family law paralegal, specifically within a litigation setting.

• Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of family law procedures, including dissolution of marriage, child custody and support, equitable distribution, alimony, and post-judgment modifications/enforcements.

• Skills: Strong drafting, organizational, calendaring, and case management skills. Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite is required.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be dependable, proactive, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.

• Certifications: Paralegal certification (such as from NALA or a similar organization) is preferred but not required.

Commensurate with experience,
up to $89,000 annually
