Russ Hadick & Associates has partnered with a leading General Contractor into help them add a Project Manager to their growing team in Boca Raton, FL. This company is known for K12 & Higher Ed, Office Commercial, Healthcare, Goverment, Parking, and Mixed Use/Hospitality projects.
Position OverviewOur expanding company is hiring a skilled Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager (PM) is fully responsible for the financial and technical success of assigned projects. The PM oversees all project phases, including pre-construction, budgeting, costs, scheduling, insurance, work performance, quality, and progress, while adhering to company policies, procedures, and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Play a central role in project planning, budgeting, and resource identification
- Form teams, establish goals, and delegate responsibilities
- Oversee financial tasks, including budget management, expense monitoring, and risk reduction
- Ensure construction activities align with set schedules
- Develop and update project work plans as required
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and workers
- Regularly track construction progress and hold status meetings with owners and subcontractors
- Adhere strictly to budget, quality, and safety standards
- Ensure all project documentation is thorough and complete
- Identify potential design or construction issues that may lead to disputes
- Act as the primary client contact, reviewing deliverables before submission
- Lead and communicate with team members, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain project timelines
- Address issues proactively and propose solutions in the best interest of our company
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years as Lead Project Manager, preferably in Florida
- Ground-up projects: municipal, government, schools, commercial
- CM at Risk experience
- Projects $20M+
- Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and project management
- Skilled in scheduling software, CMIC, and Plan Grid (preferred)
- Proven safety record, compliant with OSHA guidelines
- Authorized to work in the US
