We are looking for a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of diesel technicians responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy-duty trucks and equipment. This role oversees shop operations, ensures safety and compliance standards are met, and helps keep the fleet running efficiently.
Responsibilities- Supervise and support diesel technicians and lead technicians.
- Schedule and prioritize maintenance and repair work.
- Conduct shop meetings, inspections, and quality checks.
- Ensure repairs are completed safely and in compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company standards.
- Assist with hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Manage inventory, parts, and shop expenses.
- Troubleshoot complex vehicle and equipment repairs when needed.
- Maintain maintenance records, payroll, and department reports.
- Monitor shop productivity and recommend improvements.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of heavy equipment, fleet, or diesel maintenance experience.
- 1+ year of supervisory, lead technician, or management experience.
- Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and safety regulations.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
