This role supports Advanced Manufacturing projects in Spartanburg, South Carolina, performing materials‑management activities for major capital equipment and materials.

• Develop an understanding of material control processes, procedures, and tools, basic procurement principles, and project delivery processes.
• Utilize established policies, procedures, systems, and tools.
• Review Shipment Release Requests and ensure Shipment Authorizations comply with purchase order terms and the Material Control Execution Plan.
• Advise stakeholders on creating and initiating shipment releases and on the overall authorization process.
• Administer Material Receiving Reports (MRRs), Material Issue Requests (MIRs), and Over/Under Shipment & Damaged Reports (OS&Ds).
• Maintain a register of materials requiring preservation activities.
• Evaluate material control problem areas and apply remedies to resolve them.
• Maintain material control documentation in a repository.
• Identify and advise management of material control risks.
• Participate in coordination of OS&D resolution.
• Coordinate with project or departmental personnel in performing material control activities.
• Work under close supervision; no direct reports.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, construction, supply chain, operations management, or equivalent project experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in capital equipment material control preferred.
• Experience in Advanced Manufacturing (or related industry) projects ideal.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• 2+ years of experience using Materials Management software and Enterprise Purchasing Systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, Smart Materials).
• Expressed interest in a career in Construction Management or Procurement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work and thrive in a team environment.

• Drive to solve complex and challenging problems.
• Ability to work on‑site in Spartanburg, SC.
