Production Technician I – Entry Level
Primary Focus:
Inventory Handling and Receivables
- Pick parts and components from inventory for builds
- Receive and verify incoming shipments
- Stock inventory accurately
- Maintain clean and organized inventory areas
- Learn basic product knowledge and assembly preparation
Production Technician II – Intermediate Level
Primary Focus:
Consumables and/or Sub-Assembly Work
- Assemble basic system subcomponents, such as frames and brackets
- Build and package consumable kits (e.g., filters and membranes)
- Support Technicians III with component prep and layout
- Continue developing skills in mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Read and follow build sheets and assembly instructions
Production Technician III – Advanced Level
Job Summary
As Production Technician III, you will build, repair, and troubleshoot advanced water purification equipment for the marine industry. You will be responsible for full system assembly, testing, and final quality assurance. This is a hands-on position reporting to the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Build complete water purification systems to company specifications
- Test equipment to ensure operational standards are met
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty components
- Read wiring diagrams and follow complex assembly instructions
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
- Assist with continuous process improvements and mentoring of Tech I/II team members
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Skills & Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience or knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain if required)
Physical Requirements
- Regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs
- Perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, reaching, and standing for long periods
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor conditions
- Background check
