Operating Room - General/ Robotic Service Line Coordinator

Full‑time day shift (6:45 A–3:15 P) at Holy Cross Health, a not‑for‑profit Catholic teaching hospital in Broward County.

Serves as the operative line coordinator for the Robotic and General specialty services, ensuring efficient operation of the surgical suite and supporting anesthesia, nursing, and surgical teams.

• Demonstrate knowledge of management and clinical skills essential to the smooth and efficient operation of the Robotic and General specialty services.
• Supervise RNs, Surgical Technicians, Clinical Assistants, and ancillary staff in daily surgical suite duties.
• Maintain equipment and instrumentation within specialty area.
• Maintain constant communication with the Anesthesiologist of the day and Assistant Nurse Manager to expedite turnover times and ensure on‑time starts.
• Function as Charge Nurse when needed.
• Make assessment of daily schedules regarding adequate staff and equipment.
• Plan actions to maintain smooth flow of schedule, allowing for emergency procedures or problems.
• Communicate with anesthesia and surgeons about delays or situations that may impact schedules.
• Evaluate procedures continually to ensure the entire surgical suite runs smoothly.

• Graduate of an accredited (ACEN/CCNE) school of professional nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required or enrollment in BSN program within six months of employment.
• 3–5 years operating room experience required.
• DaVinci Robotic experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Registered Nurse, State of Florida.
• BLS (American Heart Association).
• ACLS certification.
