Registered Nurse; RN

The company employs elite teams of acute care professionals who treat catastrophically ill, medically complex patients requiring extended acute care. Most patients are ventilator dependent with multiple co-morbidities. Individual units are located within major hospitals in the South Florida region. • Assessment, Planning, Intervention and Education. Assesses each patient in accordance with established organizational and department standards & formulates an individualized plan of care in collaboration with the SCU multidisciplinary team.
• Patient Safety. Proactively assures safe practice, reports safety concerns and complies with all national and organizational patient safety and environment of care safety standards.
• Delivery of care and Evaluations. Delivers care in accordance with the nurse practice act and organizational policies and procedures
• Demonstrate Professionals role of the Registered Nurse. Represents the Unit on committees, work groups as requested.
• Medication Administration. Accountable for safe and standard of practice medication administration.

• Education – completion of a nursing program from an accredited School of Nursing. BSN Degree strongly preferred.
• Experience – Two years of experience in an acute care setting preferred, however will consider telemetry and step down.
• Licensure – Current State of Florida Registered Nurse
• Certifications – ACLS/BLS required
