Full time. Shift: Day Shift (6:45AM‑3:15PM).
A member of Trinity Health, a leading Catholic health‑care provider, operates as a full‑service, not‑for‑profit, teaching hospital. Trinity Health’s flagship Fort Lauderdale location, Holy Cross Hospital, serves as the main Catholic hospital in Broward and Palm Beach counties.
Job Summary and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates knowledge of management and clinical skills essential to the smooth and efficient operation of robotic and general specialty services.
- Supervises RNs, Surgical Technicians, Clinical Assistants, and ancillary staff in the surgical suite.
- Maintains equipment and instrumentation within specialty area.
- Maintains constant communication with the Anesthesiologist of the day and Assistant Nurse Manager to expedite turnover times and ensure on‑time starts.
- Functions as Charge Nurse when needed.
- Makes assessment of daily schedules to ensure adequate staff and equipment.
- Plans actions to maintain smooth flow of schedule, accounting for emergency procedures or disruptions.
- Manages communication with anesthesiologist and surgeons regarding delays or situations.
- Evaluates procedures continually to ensure the surgical suite runs smoothly.

Education and Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited (ACEN/CCNE) school of professional nursing.
- Bachelor’s degree required or enrollment in a BSN program within six months of employment.
- Three to five years of operating room experience.
- DaVinci robotic experience required.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Registered RN in the State of Florida.
- BLS certification (AHA) and ACLS required.
