Summary:
Reports to the Nurse Manager of the Stepdown department and is responsible for assisting with planning, administering and evaluating the twenty‑four hour operation of one or more nursing units. Duties are assigned based on patients' needs, staffing availability, etc. Attends patient rounds with physicians, answers questions regarding patients' condition, receives physicians' orders and notes patients' charts. Directs preparation and maintenance of patient clinical records.

- Attends patient rounds with physicians and answers questions regarding patients’ conditions.
- Receives physicians' orders and records patient information accurately in clinical records.
- Directs preparation and maintenance of patient clinical records.
- Education:
Completion of a nursing program from an accredited school of Nursing. - Experience:
Two years of related experience. - Credentials:
American Heart Association or Red Cross BLS and ACLS certification.
