Restaurant Chef, Ilios - Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort

The Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort is seeking a talented Restaurant Chef to lead the team at Ilios.

The ideal candidate will be a strong relationship builder with excellent communication and follow-up skills, a passion for culinary excellence, and at least 1-2 years of culinary leadership experience.

As the Restaurant Chef, you will be responsible for leading the culinary production of a designated kitchen, striving to deliver outstanding guest service and maintain financial profitability.

• Lead daily culinary production, including meal preparation, food quality and presentation, safety and sanitation compliance, team productivity, performance, cost controls, and profitability.
• Perform general management duties such as systems management, budgeting, forecasting, report generation, department management, and participating in meetings.
• Visually inspect and select quality food and beverage products, including fruits, vegetables, meats, fish, and spices.
• Create and implement new menus and individual food items.
• Monitor and develop team member performance, including supervision, professional development, counseling, evaluations, scheduling, and recognition.
• Recruit, interview, and train team members.
