B2b & SaaS Platform Sales/Account Specialist - Please note this is NOT a manager level role

100% onsite in Fort Lauderdale, FL (no relocations required).

Base Salary with commission - Salary Range: $65,000 - $70,000, negotiable for the right candidate. Commission: $250 per new client, tiered based on client size.

This role focuses on selling our insurance licensing and compliance SaaS platform to agents, agencies, carriers, Managing General Agents (MGAs), and other insurance distribution models. You will drive business growth and expand our client base within the insurance industry.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience in the software technology and insurance industry, preferably in licensing, compliance, or related solutions.
  • Experience selling SaaS products required; enterprise sales experience and full sales cycle experience is a must.
  • Strong understanding of insurance licensing processes, compliance regulations, and industry organizations (NAIC, NIPR).
  • Proven ability to deliver effective product demos and sales presentations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Self‑motivated with a proactive and results‑oriented mindset.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for industry events and client meetings.
Sales & Business Development
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the insurance sector.
  • Generate and qualify leads through email outreach, cold calling, networking, and follow‑ups.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, showcasing the value of the software licensing and compliance solution.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with decision‑makers at insurance agencies, carriers, and MGAs.
Client Engagement & Account Management
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their licensing and compliance needs.
  • Follow up with potential and past leads to convert them into customers.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
  • Address inquiries, resolve concerns, and coordinate with internal teams for seamless service delivery.
Industry Expertise & Market Awareness
  • Stay informed about insurance licensing regulations and industry trends.
  • Educate potential clients on compliance requirements and the benefits of the solution.
  • Attend industry trade shows and conferences to network and generate leads.
Sales Strategy & Performance Tracking
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Track sales metrics, pipeline activity, and conversion rates using CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging and improve lead‑generation efforts.
