We are seeking a full-time Armed Security Officer to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The role involves protecting individuals and assets by patrolling designated areas, maintaining surveillance, enforcing access control, and responding effectively to emergencies or security incidents. Officers will be responsible for maintaining detailed logs and reports, handling security equipment responsibly, ensuring legal compliance, and providing excellent customer service.

This is an on-site role that requires a strong security presence and the ability to act decisively in critical situations.

• Valid armed security guard license or permit, with a completed background check and required training
• Certified firearms training and adherence to local firearm regulations
• Skills in patrolling, access control, surveillance, and observation
• Ability to respond effectively to emergencies, alarms, and incidents
• Proficiency in report writing, record maintenance, and communication using two-way radios and other devices
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to assist clients, visitors, and employees with professionalism and courtesy
• Good physical fitness and the ability to remain composed and make sound decisions under pressure
• Experience in security-related roles is highly desirable
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development
