Unarmed Security Officer Reliefon Call

Job Summary:

Wright Worldwide Inc. is seeking dedicated and professional Security Officers to provide safety and protection at a church location. Security Officers will guard their assigned station inside of the sanctuary or in the parking lot, provide access control, patrol the property, monitor for potential threats, and respond to incidents as needed. Additionally, Officers will interact with congregants, staff, management, visitors, and local law enforcement.

This role is essential in ensuring the safety of church members, staff, and visitors while safeguarding the church's assets and property.

• M/W 9AM-1:30PM
• T/R 9:30AM - 1:30PM
• TUES 4-9 PM
• WED 5-9 PM
• Sundays 6:30 AM – 1:00 PM
• Some Saturdays (if needed), with shifts varying between daytime and evening hours, including coverage for funerals.

The relief detail is approximately 6-10 hours weekly. This assignment requires you to possess a black, navy or gray, conservative suit, tactical gear, and to be flexible. Unarmed positions are offered at $15.00-$16.50 an hour depending upon experience.

• Experience:
  
  Previous security experience required. Prior experience working in a church or community-based setting is highly desirable.
• Armed Security
  
  Experience:
  
  Must have 2-3 years of consecutive experience as an unarmed security officer, hold a valid D license, and have no more than a 1-year gap since the last assignment.
• Customer Service
  
  Experience:
  
  1-2 years in a customer service environment serving the public.
• Communication
  
  Skills:
  
  Strong verbal and written skills to interact effectively with staff, members, and visitors.
• Valid Driver's License:
  Required for operating golf carts or other vehicles for patrols.
