Security Officer – Supervisor (Full-Time)

Location: Port of Fort Lauderdale, FL

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule

• Tuesday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Thursday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Friday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Saturday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

• Supervise and support security officers during assigned shifts
• Monitor and control access to restricted port areas
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
• Document and report incidents, hazards, or irregularities
• Serve as the point of contact for port staff and security management
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required reports and logs

• Must pass a background check
• Must obtain or already possess a TWIC card
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
• Previous experience in security or supervisory roles preferred
