Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Employment Type: Part-Time

• Friday: 7:30 AM – 6:30 PM
• Saturday: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• Sunday: 7:30 PM – 2:00 AM
• Monday: 6:30 PM – 4:30 AM

We are seeking a responsible and dependable Security Officer to join our team at the Port of Fort Lauderdale
. This role involves monitoring access points, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and providing professional assistance to staff, drivers, and visitors.

• Monitoring and controlling access to designated areas
• Conducting regular patrols to ensure safety and security compliance
• Reporting incidents, irregularities, or hazards promptly
• Maintaining detailed and accurate activity logs and reports
• Providing excellent customer service while enforcing security procedures

• Must pass a background check
• Must obtain or already possess a TWIC card
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and patrol assigned areas
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Previous security experience preferred but not required
