This is a full-time on-site role for a Security Officer located in Broward and Miami-Dade, FL. The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients and their employees, guests, and property. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring and patrolling premises, responding to incidents, enforcing policies and procedures, and implementing security measures. The Security Officer will also be required to complete regular training and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience in security operations, patrolling, and monitoring premises
- Ability to respond effectively to incidents and emergencies
- Strong observational and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid Florida D and G Security Licenses
- Ability to de-escalate situations and handle conflict professionally
- A high level of physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional security or emergency response training is a plus
- Clean criminal record and ability to pass background checks
