Advanced Service Technician – Race Trac

The Advanced Service Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of up to 15 Race Trac and Raceway convenience stores in a designated region. This individual assesses, develops protocol, and resolves maintenance issues to ensure the operability of every store at all times.

• Resolve maintenance and services issues at Race Trac and Raceway convenience store locations to ensure full operability 24/7, ultimately increase the profitability of the company.
• Ensure each job is performed at a high level of skill and with optimal customer service.
• Serve as a knowledge expert in general maintenance functions including, but not limited to, HVACR, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, food service/beverage equipment, and petroleum dispensing systems.
• Accurately maintain tools and inventory on a service vehicle.
• Provide project support to cross‑functional departments in various initiatives related to stores.
• Respond to additional ad hoc maintenance requests communicated from store personnel as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of local and state guidelines for facility services as necessary.
• Work with other ASTs to cross‑train in multiple trades.

• Food and Beverage equipment repair knowledge preferred.
• Fuel dispenser and pump repair knowledge preferred.
• Technical School training in HVACR or electrical preferred.
• 4+ years work experience preferred.
• Type 1 & Type 2 EPA Certification for refrigerants.
• Experience in a retail maintenance environment a plus.
• General knowledge maintenance and repair procedures a plus.
• Maintenance or repair certifications a plus.
• Basic Microsoft office knowledge.
