The RoleWe are looking for a skilled and motivated Marine Technician to join our team in Fort Lauderdale. In this role, you will be the hands‑on expert responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of cutting‑edge stabilizer systems. You will work on a variety of vessels, ensuring our clients can enjoy their time on the water without the worry of rough seas.
Key Responsibilities- Install & Commission: Perform expert installation of marine stabilizer systems.
- Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues to ensure optimal system performance.
- Maintain: Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Client Support: Provide technical support and clear communication to boat owners and captains.
- Safety First: Adhere to strict safety protocols while working in fast‑paced marine environments.
The ideal candidate is a problem‑solver with a strong background in marine systems. You should be comfortable working independently or as part of a team and willing to get your hands dirty to get the job done right.
Required Qualifications- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of marine mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience: Hands‑on experience troubleshooting and maintaining marine equipment (stabilizer experience is a major plus).
- Blueprints: Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
- Physicality: Ability to perform manual labor, lift heavy equipment, and work in confined spaces (engine rooms/bilges).
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel or work flexible hours as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Technical certifications in marine systems are a plus).
- Work with the latest marine technology.
