Primary Responsibilities
  • Read, interpret, and follow electrical drawings, wiring schematics, and specifications.
  • Plan and execute new installations, alterations, additions, and/or repairs for both high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems.
  • Bend conduit using hand, mechanical, or hydraulic benders.
  • Pull wire to connect panels, motors, lights, outlets, and controls.
  • Perform functional testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
  • Safely use tools including saws, threaders, wire tuggers, knock punches, drills, and compression tools.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining accountability for tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Maintain clean and organized work sites.
  • Demonstrate safe work practices and complete all required documentation.

Position Requirements

Must-Haves
  • High School Diploma or Trade School Certificate.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical installation per NEC and local codes.
  • Ability to plan installations that are safe, efficient, and maintainable.
  • Proficiency with hand tools including benders and drills.
  • Solid understanding of electrical circuits.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with customers.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
  • Ability to carry up to 50 lbs., work at heights up to 90 feet, and perform duties in confined or restricted spaces.
Good to Have
  • Journeyman Card (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience with both high- and low-voltage installations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Flexibility to occasionally travel outside the area (overnight stays may be required).
  • Willingness to attend night training/educational classes as needed.
