This is a brand-new position and our first in-house Full Stack Software Engineer. You will play a foundational role in building the systems that power the pharmacy — from internal tools to customer-facing applications.
- Establish engineering standards and development best practices.
- Build new applications and modernize existing systems.
- Have full ownership of technical decisions.
- Work directly with the CEO, COO, IT Manager, and operational leaders.
- Help guide the future of our tech stack and internal processes.

Position OverviewWe are seeking a versatile Full Stack Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of both internal and customer‑facing applications. This role covers the full development lifecycle — architecture, coding, testing, integration, and deployment.
The ideal candidate is strong across both front‑end and back‑end development, comfortable making architectural decisions, and excited to help build a modern technology ecosystem inside a rapidly growing company.

- Design, develop, and deploy full‑stack applications for pharmacy operations, workflows, and e‑commerce systems.
- Architect secure, scalable APIs and back‑end services using Java/Spring Boot.
- Build intuitive, responsive front‑end interfaces using modern frameworks and Optimizely CMS.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Implement SQL/No
SQL databases and ensure data integrity, performance, and reliability. - Build automation and integrations to streamline internal processes.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and development best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across the stack.
- Ensure compliance with privacy and security standards for handling sensitive pharmacy data.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and propose scalable, innovative solutions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in full‑stack software engineering.
- Proven success building scalable, secure, and maintainable applications.
- Strong experience designing and building RESTful APIs and enterprise integrations.
- Experience working across the full stack: front‑end, back‑end, databases, and cloud.
- Experience working in fast‑paced, agile environments.
- Ability to take ownership, work independently, and operate in a low‑structure environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with CMS platforms, especially Optimizely.
- Strong back‑end experience with Java/Spring Boot.
- Hands‑on experience with MEAN stack (Mongo
DB, Express.js, Angular/Vue, Node.js). - Front‑end experience with HTML5, CSS3, Type Script, React, Next.js, and responsive design.
- Strong database knowledge (SQL + No
SQL, especially Mongo
DB). - Experience with Git, unit/integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience deploying applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Ability to troubleshoot, optimize performance, and build scalable solutions.
