Blink Link is bringing connection back to the real world. Our app shows you who's nearby and open to meeting, right now. You "blink" at someone in the same bar, campus or conference, and if they blink back, you're connected while you're both still in the room. No swiping. Just real people, in real places, meeting in real time.

We launch in Miami this November with native iOS and Android apps and Blink Link nights at partner venues, then expand to major nightlife cities, college campuses and conferences across the U.S.

As CTO, you'll lead all technology at Blink Link and report directly to our founder and CEO, James Willis. You'll take ownership of the product from launch and build the technical team as we grow.

• Own the Blink Link iOS and Android apps, the backend and the admin panel
• Take over the codebase from our development partner after launch
• Lead the product roadmap: fixes, updates and new features based on real user data
• Build for scale as we expand to new cities, campuses and events
• Keep the app safe, private and secure for users meeting in person
• Represent our technology to investors, accelerators and partners
• Hire and lead engineers once we're funded

• You've shipped at least one native mobile app (iOS or Android) to real users
• Experience with backend systems, APIs and databases (MongoDB a plus)
• Comfortable owning technical decisions with no one above you on tech
• You want to build a product people use in the real world, not just on a screen
• Social, dating, events, real-time or location-based app experience
• Push notifications, geolocation or matching systems
• Startup or early-team experience
• Based in Miami or open to spending time here

• Equity, vesting over four years with a one-year cliff
• Salary negotiated once Blink Link is funded
• A leadership role on the founding team of a company built to scale nationwide

I left the equity percentage out. That gets negotiated, so James's lawyer can set it based on experience. Listing the vesting upfront also screens for people who are serious about staying.
