About the OpportunityOur client, a respected leader in private aviation charter, is seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic (A&P) to join their maintenance team in Fort Lauderdale, FL
. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced A&P mechanic to perform hands‑on maintenance on Beechjet 400A and Hawker 800XP aircraft in a fast‑paced, high‑standard operation. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, safety‑focused, and passionate about delivering top‑tier aircraft maintenance in compliance with FAA regulations.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on corporate jet aircraft.
- Ensure all work meets FAA regulations and company quality standards.
- Accurately complete maintenance records, work orders, and return‑to‑service documentation.
- Troubleshoot aircraft discrepancies using wiring diagrams, schematics, technical manuals, and calibrated test equipment.
- Communicate effectively with lead mechanics and management regarding aircraft status and operational readiness.
- Properly use, maintain, and account for tools, equipment, and inspection aids.
- 3–5 years of experience in corporate or general aviation maintenance.
- Experience with Beechjet 400A and/or Hawker 800XP strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work flexible hours based on operational needs.
- Willingness to relocate to or commute reliably to Fort Lauderdale, FL
.
