JD Audio & Video Design Inc is seeking an experienced and detail‑driven Purchasing Agent to lead procurement, inventory management, and facilities oversight across our operations. In this hands‑on, strategic role, you will develop and implement purchasing policies, manage vendor relationships, and ensure inventory accuracy for high‑end audio, video, lighting, and security products. The ideal candidate is cost‑conscious, organized, a strong negotiator, and ready to support a fast‑paced tech integration business with superior logistics coordination.

• Supervise purchasing operations and oversee the daily workflow of procurement processes.
• Implement purchasing strategies, internal controls, and vendor standards.
• Approve purchase orders based on project timelines, pricing, inventory needs, and vendor terms.
• Negotiate pricing and payment terms with suppliers; monitor for discounts or promotional opportunities.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor‑related quality issues.
• Update D‑Tools and maintain current vendor pricing for accurate quoting and project planning.
• Coordinate distribution of materials and ensure efficiency in delivery workflows.
• Oversee warehouse operations, service van inventory, and inventory control protocols.
• Maintain security of inventory, ensure system accuracy, and conduct periodic counts.
• Manage stock aging, suggest resale of unused items, and oversee returns.
• Develop and manage minimum‑maximum stocking levels.
• Recommend and implement inventory tracking and technology enhancements.
• Maintain the safety and functionality of company facilities and vehicles.
• Enforce OSHA compliance and facility safety standards.
• Create and execute maintenance protocols for restrooms, parking, lighting, and more.
• Issue work orders and requisitions for building and facility needs.

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred; relevant technical certification a plus.
• 5+ years of combined experience in purchasing, warehousing, or inventory in a tech‑related environment.
• AV industry and consumer electronics familiarity preferred.
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in logistics, procurement, or operations.
• Strong computer skills; ability to operate database, inventory, and vendor platforms.
• Proven negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
