Responsibilities- Perform radiologic imaging procedures on appropriate anatomical regions in accordance with accepted standards of practice and clinic protocols.
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and follow established clinical and regulatory procedures for patient safety and care, including radiation protection and shielding techniques.
- Obtain and accurately document patient history, vital signs, and other pertinent information; administer medications as ordered and within licensure/certification.
- Assist with patient check-in/out and maintain patient flow; communicate wait times and next steps in the treatment process.
- Provide lab and x-ray results follow-up, and maintain documentation for patient visits.
- Ensure equipment is in proper working order and report malfunctions; perform quality checks and troubleshoot as needed.
- Maintain infection control, patient confidentiality, and a clean examination room; adhere to safety guidelines.
- Phlebotomy, injections, and other procedures appropriate for the level of training under clinician direction.
- Adhere to professional standards and act with honesty and integrity in all business transactions.
- Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
Job Description
- Perform radiologic imaging procedures in accordance with clinic protocols.
- Complete and explain the Patient Screening form and guide the patient through the procedure.
- Maintain patient care, comfort, and safety; provide images to the facility in the required format.
- Perform equipment quality checks and report issues; coordinate with the team for service when needed.
- Maintain a clean facility environment and protect patient confidentiality.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Graduate of an approved two-year Radiologic Technology program or LMRT program
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or be registry eligible and possess a current Iowa license.
- Ability to interact professionally with clients and team members; work autonomously with responsibility and ethics.
- Ability to produce high-quality imaging with minimal supervision; willing to assist Radiologist in interpretation of exams.
- Ability to function effectively in a team-oriented environment; flexible, reliable, and able to demonstrate sound judgment and initiative.
- Physical ability to lift at least 60 pounds and assist with patient maneuvering.
- Competency in all applicable areas.

- Monday to Friday
