Cryotech Deicing Technology, a division of GA, specializes in developing and manufacturing de‑icing products for aircraft, runways, and other applications.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Technician to support our QA Team in Ft. Madison, Iowa. Under careful supervision, the individual will work with other members of the quality team to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the plant, maximize operational efficiency, provide timely and accurate process control information, maintain testing equipment, and certify that completed products meet intended specifications.
Dutiesand Responsibilities
- Communicate and adhere to safety policies in all work environments.
- Provide process control and product certification results using laboratory analytical and physical test equipment.
- Calibrate and ensure all process testing equipment operates within designated parameters.
- Report information using computer data management systems.
- Maintain and coordinate repair of all laboratory testing and processing equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent with at least one year of experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to remain composed in difficult situations and maintain a positive customer service attitude.
- Time‑management skills, including self‑direction and prioritization of current tasks.
- Strong sense of teamwork.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.
- Two years or more of experience in quality control and/or a lab environment preferred.
Job Type: Full‑Time (Hourly)
Salary Range: $40,500 – $60,218
