Accounts Payable Clerk SAP

Use SAP and accounting expertise as an Accounts Payable Clerk with the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo in Fort McMurray. This casual opportunity offers 70 hours bi-weekly.

Within Corporate Services, Accounting Services, you will review accounts payable liabilities and process payments according to agreed terms. The work includes vendor invoices, statement reconciliation, employee expense claims, and Microsoft Office. You will also support accurate documentation, coding, approvals, and policy compliance.

• Process vendor invoices promptly in SAP
• Reconcile vendor statements and verify supporting documentation
• Review LEM invoices for accuracy, coding, and approval
• Process employee expense claims under administrative procedures
• Maintain accounts payable reports and answer enquiries

• Certificate in Business Administration or Accounting
• Three years of directly related accounts payable experience
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Office
• Strong data entry, proofreading, mathematics, and numeracy skills
• Criminal Record Check submission required
