About the Role

The Field Coordinator is responsible for inspecting restoration/construction projects, assessing scope and material requirements, and coordinating the procurement of materials needed to support timely project completion. This role requires hands-on carpentry knowledge, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with project teams, vendors, subcontractors and suppliers.
The position does not involve direct supervision of crews.



Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site inspections of restoration projects to assess damage, scope of work, and construction requirements
  • Apply carpentry and construction knowledge to determine appropriate repair methods and materials
  • Prepare detailed material lists based on site assessments and project specifications
  • Coordinate ordering, delivery, and tracking of materials to ensure project readiness
  • Communicate findings and material requirements to project managers, coordinators, and office staff
  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure correct materials, quantities, and timelines
  • Monitor project needs and adjust material orders as scopes change
  • Maintain accurate documentation, notes, and inspection records
  • Ensure materials and methods align with company standards, building practices, and restoration requirements
Qualifications
  • Strong carpentry or construction background, preferably in restoration or repair work
  • Ability to read and interpret scopes of work, plans, and specifications
  • Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and restoration processes
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Comfortable working independently in the field
  • Clear communication and documentation skills
  • Proficient with basic computer systems, mobile devices, and ordering platforms
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as required


Preferred Experience
  • Experience in restoration (insurance, fire, water, mold, or general repairs)
  • Previous experience conducting site inspections
  • Familiarity with supplier ordering and organization
