Safety Advisor

Position: OCL Group Safety Advisor Needed
Boost safety standards as a Safety Advisor with OCL Group Inc. in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, AB. You'll evaluate site hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

In this crucial role, the Safety Advisor will lead hazard assessments and the development of safety analyses for multiple construction projects. Your expertise will drive safety initiatives while working closely with crews and subcontractors to maintain a safe working environment. A strong background in construction safety management will support your success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive site hazard assessments and updates

• Lead job safety analysis development collaboratively

• Organize safety meetings and track compliance through reporting

• Conduct incident investigations and document findings

• Complete regular safety inspections to maintain standards

Requirements:

• Completed National Construction Safety Officer certification

• Valid certifications in First Aid, WHMIS, and H2S Alive

• Solid experience in safety programs and construction procedures

• Attention to detail with effective communication skills

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be legally eligible to work in Canada
