Experienced Dozer Operator

Join Kichton Construction LP as a full-time Dozer Operator in Fort McMurray. This role requires at least 2 years of experience operating Dozers in the Oilsands environment.

Kichton Construction LP is seeking a skilled Dozer Operator for site work at Fort Hills. The ideal candidate will operate D9-D11 Dozers and assist with shovel support. You must read stakes, maintain compliance with safety standards, and conduct safety checks before operations begin.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate D9 and D11 Dozers for assigned work

• Ripping above the shovel to support excavation

• Place grade based on staking readings

• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures

• Report necessary repairs and incidents immediately

Requirements:

• 2-3 years experience with D9-D11 Dozers

• Comfort in soft ground conditions (Muskeg)

• Previous experience in a mining environment preferred

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required

• Strong safety-oriented mindset and listening skills
