Reporting to the Lead Project Manager, the Project Coordinator supports the coordination and delivery of multiple civil construction projects, working across a variety of scopes and collaborating closely with field crews to keep work progressing safely and on schedule.
This is a hands‑on position that combines both field and office responsibilities, working closely with project teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality execution.
How You’ll Add Value- Actively contribute to the safety culture, promoting a safe and productive work environment
- Work in both the field and office to align project execution with plans
- Assist with scheduling, procurement, cost tracking, and project reporting
- Coordinate with superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and suppliers to support daily operations
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and track project progress
- Support quantity tracking, documentation, and project records
- Promote and follow all Health, Safety & Environmental standards
- Help identify and resolve project challenges to keep work on track
- 3+ years of experience in a civil construction environment with exposure to multiple scopes
- Comfortable working a mix of office and field with extended hours
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a Driver’s Abstract showing no more than 6 demerits and no major infractions
- Engineering degree, diploma, or CET designation (considered an asset)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience with project management or construction software such as InEight (considered anvasset)
- Willing to travel and work out of town for short, fixed‑term periods, as needed
Note:
Pre‑employment Drug and Alcohol Testing and Fit for Work Testing will be required.
