We are recruiting a Project Coordinator to join our team for projects in the Fort McMurray, Alberta area. The Project Coordinator assists the Project Manager by providing administrative support to ensure that project specifications, budgets, and timelines are met efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure project deadlines are met in a timely manner.
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and evaluating construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget.
  • Ensure clients’ needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Provide support in planning and preparing construction schedules and milestones and monitoring progress against established schedules.
  • Assist in the preparation of contracts and negotiating revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with clients and subcontractors.
  • Ensure project adheres to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
  • Assist in the preparation of progress reports and issuing progress schedules to clients.
  • Support with recruitment and management of project staff and contractors.
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Business, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering and/or equivalent experience in the oil & gas industry may be considered.
  • Experience coordinating a single large project or several projects simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of contracts and contract management.
  • Experience managing Unit Rate, Lump Sum and T&M Contracts projects.
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize various tasks with conflicting deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and timelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test including cannabis.
