Elevate workplace safety with OCL Group as a Night Shift Safety Advisor on a 14/14 rotation. This role fosters a positive safety culture and requires strong communication skills.
As a Safety Advisor for OCL Group, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring site safety across Western Canada. With a focus on hazard assessment and effective communication, you’ll oversee job safety analyses and conduct safety meetings. Your expertise will be vital in driving safety compliance and tracking site safety statistics while working in a fly-in/fly-out setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct general site hazard assessments and develop mitigation plans
• Oversee field level hazard assessments (FLHA) for accuracy
• Lead job safety analysis (JSA) development with site personnel
• Run regular safety meetings as outlined in the safety management plan (SMP)
• Track and report site safety statistics regularly
Requirements:
• 5+ years of field safety experience
• Certified National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO)
• Excellent Microsoft Office and Google Docs skills
• Prior experience with Enbridge is an asset
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
