HSE Lead at Barnhart Crane

Drive safety excellence as an HSE Lead with Barnhart Crane, ensuring compliance and fostering a strong safety culture in construction and heavy equipment sectors. Lead safety programs and incident management initiatives effectively.

In the HSE Lead role, you will support the branch by implementing safety policies and practices tailored to client and industry needs. You will orchestrate incident investigations, mentor staff, and maintain relationships with client site safety representatives. Additionally, you will oversee employee training development and ensure compliance with safety regulations and codes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and implement safety programs aligned to branch and client needs

• Manage incident investigations and quality reporting processes

• Mentor staff in safety inspections, audits, and best practices

• Liaise with client site safety representatives for effective communication

• Conduct field inspections to ensure regulatory compliance

Requirements:

• NCSO, CRSP, CSP or similar safety designation

• 5+ years’ experience in Construction or Heavy Equipment industry

• Experience in training program development preferred

• Understanding of crane functions is an asset

• Ability to access all oil sands sites in Fort Mc Murray
